This play about four couples at various stages of their lives played to standing room only crowds at its premiere in April. Now, back by public demand, the hugely popular hit play returns to delight new audience with its blend of comedy, drama, and pathos.

Trapped in Marriage explores the theme of traps. This theme, though somber is presented with a light touch that will delight and touch the audience. There is laughter, drama and camaraderie as the characters explore their marriages and relationships.

The veteran actors Brion Roxbury, Tawari Rodgers, Liselle Harris, Denise DeGregory and Dawn Rolle are excited to reprise their roles and remarkable performances. The cast is rounded off with Luckner Timothee, Andre Cartwright, and Caron Smith who accomplish the mind-boggling feat of inhabiting their characters totally, to the amazement of the sold out audience.

Sheppard whose writing credits include the Bahamian plays Staff Room Gossip, The Woman from Nassau, With a Little Bit of Luck and You Never Go Back. She is also the author of the novel The Green Shutters and a veteran director of more than thirty plays at the Regency Theatre and in Grand Bahama. It is produced by Leona Roach a long- time member of the Freeport Players’ Guild and an accomplished actor in her own right.
