| Officials meet to determine Bahamas’ readiness in case of oil spills |

Representatives from Government and private-sector entities in the capital and from Freeport, Grand Bahama, were in in attendance. According to Response Co-ordinator Brent Williamson, the purpose of the Committee is to ensure that The Bahamas is in a state of readiness, as it pertains to oils spills in the territorial and archipelagic waters of The Bahamas.
