Monday afternoon, 6th August, 2012, officers at the Central Detective Unit along with their uniformed colleagues are continuing the investigations into a late morning armed robbery at a clothing store on Pioneers Way near Bank Lane. It was minutes before 12noon when an employee was robbed by a lone gunman of a gold chain before he made good his escape from the store. Anyone with information regarding the robber is being encouraged to call 350-3107/8, 352-9774/5 or 911 to assist in advancing the investigation in this incident. POLICE INVESTIGATING ARMED ROBBERY AT CONVENIENT STORE At 2:10pm on Monday 6th August, 2012, the police were called to a Convenient Store on Coral Road where a lone gunman robbed the attendant of cash before making good his escape. Officers at the Central Detective Unit are continuing their investigations into this matter and they are appealing to persons who were in the vicinity of the convenient store and recognized the culprit before entering or exiting the store, to call 352-9774/5, 350-3107/8 or 911 with information to assist in the investigations.
