Thursday, 12 July 2012 08:42

This morning, Monday 9th July, 2012, at 10:00am, a second man, Don Delva DOB 23rd May, 1986 of Redwood Lane, Freeport, was arraigned in Magistrate’s Court No.2 before Magistrate Andrew Forbes on the charge of Harboring a Criminal after he was arrested at 7:45am on Saturday 7th July, 2012. He was remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison and the trial is set for 12th September, 2012.

It was just four days ago, when another male, Alphonso Alfred Bethel DOB 18th March, 1990 of Sunset Subdivision was arraigned in the Magistrate’s Court in Eight Mile Rock on similar charges before Magistrate Gwendolyn Claude and remanded to Her Majesty’s Prison.

Again, the police are issuing a caution to persons who are engaging in the act of harboring ‘wanted’ persons in relation to the APB disseminated for six males last week and others who are still outstanding. We (the Police) are reminding the public that it is an offence to harbor a criminal and anyone found harboring a criminal (s) will be arrested and placed before the courts in accordance with the law.
