Hon. Bernard J. Nottage staff meeting at Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas

NASSAU, Bahamas -- Minister of National Security, Dr. the Hon. Bernard J. Nottage (right) got an opportunity to re-acquaint himself with employees of the Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas following a tour of the facilities Thursday (June 21, 2012). The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas falls under the purview of the Minister of National Security. Dr. Nottage met with senior managers of the Corporation prior to taking a tour of the facilities and speaking with staff members. He was accompanied by Senator, the Hon. Keith Bell, Minister of State, Ministry of National Security, and Mr. Carl Smith, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of National Security. The Broadcasting Corporation of The Bahamas recently celebrated its 76th anniversary as a broadcast facility in the Commonwealth of The Bahamas. Dr. Nottage told staff members that he expects them to set the standard for broadcasting in The Bahamas based on the professionalism and expertise that should be attained after 76 years. The National Security Minister told staff members that he has tremendous confidence in their capabilities to perform at a high level, and that the onus is now on them, to prove likewise to the general public.
