For the last seven years, U.S. Embassy volunteers have traveled to Woodcock Primary School each week during the school year to read to students for 30 minutes as part of the Ministry of Education’s national “Read to Lead” program. The reading program has proved to be a rewarding experience for the committed U.S. Embassy volunteers. It has also fostered a love of reading in primary students throughout The Bahamas. The U.S. Embassy wishes to thank Fun Foods Wholesale Ltd. and Phil’s Food Services Ltd. for the generous support of the event.
