This year will be the first time this event will be held on Grand Bahama, and organisers are seeking support from the Grand Bahama community to ensure its success. It is our sincere hope that you will encourage your colleagues, family and friends to participate in this worthwhile event. Registration is $10.00 for both children and adults. Click HERE to download the registration form. Completed forms can be returned to the Beacon School, the YMCA, Gizmos and Gadgets, or K. Brian Hanna Chambers in the Corp Law Court Building. Registration packets should be picked up on Friday, May 11, 2012 from K. Brian Hanna Chambers, Corp Law Court Building on W. Settlers Way (across from Caribbean Bottling) between 4pm-7pm. There is NO registration the day of the walk. Proceeds raised from this event will be used in two ways. Firstly, to launch a Grand Bahama Chapter of the Bahamas Down Syndrome Society and, secondly, to make a contribution to the Bahamas Down Syndrome Society National Public Awareness campaign.The walk will begin in the parking lot of the Grand Bahama Port Authority, travel north on the mall, around the roundabout in front of the courthouse and return to the parking lot of the Grand Bahama Port Authority.
