Statement by the Prime Minister:

"I have today advised His Excellency the Governor General to dissolve Parliament."

NOTES:

The Provost Marshall is expected to read the proclamation from the Governor General this afternoon.
The Prime Minister will address the nation LIVE tonight, April 10th, on ZNS TV at 8pm.
