Founder of Supermodel of the Bahamas, OilinSha Coakley says, "The Supermodel of the Bahamas Organization is excited to be in our fourth season and bigger and better than ever. I look forward to traveling to some of our family islands to scout beauty found there. We  hope that the general pubic can refer people they know that may have potential as models or singers and encourage them to come out. We also look forward to hearing from the vocal talent in the communities."

Contestants should be aware that an entrance fee is applicable in order to participate and each applicant will be given a date for payments due.

Supermodel of the Bahamas is similar to America's Next Top Model in that it discovers new faces, most of whom have never modeled before. The candidates are then trained and pushed to perform, whereupon it becomes obvious after photo shoots, runway shows, and interviews, who is made for the life of a model.
