Rhonda L.C. Hull, Managing Director at L.C. Hull & Co. law firm is pleased to announce that L.C. Hull & Co. now has attorneys in their Abaco office that specialise in divorce and matrimonial matters.MARSH HARBOUR, Abaco -- Rhonda L.C. Hull, Managing Director at L.C. Hull & Co. law firm, believes that “divorce matters require extra care and consideration because of the emotional aspects involved in dissolving marriages, child custody and property division.” In this vein she is pleased to announce that L.C. Hull & Co. now has attorneys in their Abaco office that specialize in divorce and matrimonial matters.

“Divorces are difficult,” added Hull, “but at our firm, you will be represented by an attorney who cares – someone who understands what you are going through, who will be there to listen when you need to be heard, who will be honest with you about your case, and who will fight tenaciously to help you achieve the best possible results.”

One of the firm’s divorce specialists, Mrs. Joan Ferguson, is a former Stipendiary and Circuit Court Magistrate, familiar with the efficient conduct of divorce matters.  “It is important that our divorce attorneys have the experience with child custody, child support, visitation, property rights, property division, alimony and the recovery of attorney’s fees,” says Hull.  She was also keen to stress that her team approaches every child custody dispute with the utmost care, taking the time to fully understand the client’s needs and concerns so they can develop a plan of action that is best for all concerned.

“Child custody is typically one of the most hotly disputed areas of a divorce,” says Hull.  “Parents have strong opinions regarding how their children should be raised, and determining physical and legal custody is therefore of utmost importance.  Child support and visitation tie in to custody as well, so there is a lot to sort out in these matters.”

Hull also felt that choosing the right divorce attorney could make an enormous difference in the outcome of your divorce.  “We are very pleased that L.C. Hull and Co., has its main office in downtown Marsh Harbour, which allows our clients to work with a firm on their island and save hundreds of dollars on airplane tickets, hotel and rental cars when they need to talk with an attorney about their divorce.”

Ronnie’s Organic Community Corner Store launches first Bahamas retail venture
Wednesday, 30 January 2013 11:56

“We believe when children and adults eat well they avoid chronic health issues in the future, have sharper minds and fitter bodies now, and bring greater value to society throughout their lifetimes.” - Ronnie’s Organic Team

ABACO, Bahamas -- After working with young people over the span of almost 30 years, Whitney Bain (Ronnie’s Organic) will launch his first retail venture in The Bahamas as it relates to the funding of youth work and leadership development.

Many years ago Whitney’s life was changed for the better by the intervention of a caring high school teacher named Mrs. Mary Nabb (now deceased). Having observed him making wrong decisions and heading in the wrong direction, Mrs. Nabb had confronted him and shown him a picture of himself in the years ahead. He did not like what he saw and found her intervention pivotal in changing his direction.

Shortly after that episode Whitney started to work with his classmates, helping them with homework, class assignments and also showing them pictures of themselves in the future. This willingness to share what he had learnt stamped itself on his life, and he has replicated ever since. Over the years Whitney has facilitated countless sessions aimed at motivating young people. Additionally, he has held positions on several school boards, lead youth departments and has conducted many sessions specific to leadership and personal development.

After having worked in these settings, Whitney recognized that one of the major failings of many of the past and current youth initiatives is a lack of proper funding. This has led him to focus his current efforts on developing a project to fund the efforts of the youth organizations that he is associated with and to also address a matter that he has identified as an area of concern as it relates to young people achieving their full potential academically: proper nutrition.
