The Bahamas International Film Festival organizers are excited to have Sammy T scheduled to perform at the Film Festival's musical performance on Saturday, December 12, 2009 at 10:00pm at Mariposa Stables: La Hipica Hispanic Restaurant, Nelson Rd. Mt. Pleasant Village (Next to Goodfellows Farm). Sammy T has cut his teeth singing in rock n roll bands in Australia, the UK and Spain, and now calls the Bahamas his home. Inspired by the cruisey laid-back feel of the islands he has written a new album’s worth of material which he and his band will be debuting at this year’s Bahamas International Film Festival. Filled with quirky, hook-ridden, danceable pop tunes this is music that is instantly likeable with broad appeal, and accessible to all ages. Think the Monkees, Fatboy Slim and Eddie Grant blended together with a splash of Bahama Mama fruit punch. Sammy is known internationally for his energetic and highly entertaining stage show. Its Mick Jagger meets Monty Python. Mixing classic skinny-britboy frontman antics, with dry self-depreciating humour, he and his crew are 100% guaranteed to entertain. For this highly entertaining and fun event, the attire is Hispanic rodeo (casual). Tickets are $20 and available at the door.
