| It takes a village to care about education |

Last week we sent you a second challenge -- okay, we asked for your input into our desperately declining education results. We thought that after the huge response on the new customs shipping regulations we might get a lot of feedback, especially as everyone always seems to have an opinion on education! To our surprise we got one response. We had noted last week that it takes a "village" to raise a child but it seems our "village" ain't checkin'. They sure seem to check when it comes to their money or a change in routine, but it would seem no one wants to step into the education fray. Pretty much sums up to us as to why its not getting anywhere. You've got to care to make it change. Not that we want to put the blame on our readers, its not your job to solve the education problem, but we can't just leave it to the government and to the educators. Can we? Don't they have enough to do right now. So how can it be solved? We guess the answer is out there somewhere, we hope.
