| 'Island Run' bike race slated for Grand Bahama |

 The Grand Bahama Cyclist Club (organizer)and Herman's Tank Cleaning Company (sponsor) will hold the 'Island Run' bike race, Saturday November 22nd and the 12 mile Individual TT, Sunday 23rd 2008 on Grand Bahama.The bike race, starting at 9am, will cover 75 miles, from McLeans Town to West End. Novice and females will do a shortened race starting from the green water towers on the east section of the GB Highway and continue into West End. The juniors will race on the GB Highway at the conclusion of the TT on Sunday. The bike race and TT will be combined for an overall result but cyclists can choose to compete in just the TT where the 'Time Trial Champion for Grand Bahama' will be crowned. Prizes for divisions will be awarded and cash prizes will be given to overall Male and female winners.
