'Catalyst' the theme for Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce in 2013
Tuesday, 29 January 2013 12:08

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- Merriam Webster’s dictionary defines Catalyst as “an agent that provokes or speeds significant change or action.”

Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce President Barry Malcolm and his Board of Directors have chosen for this year’s theme “Catalyst” to serve and act on behalf of its members as an agent to effect positive change that will lead to Grand Bahama Island reaching its full economic potential.

Persons are invited to celebrate the Installation Ceremony of The Grand Bahama Chamber of Commerce’s executive body on Saturday, February 16th, 2013 at Delphine’s at the Pelican Bay Hotel.

The Installation ceremony will take on a new twist this year in the form of a networking event instead of the usual formal banquet. Organisers envision this upscale gathering to create an atmosphere that will foster interaction amongst members.

This memorable event will be filled with entertainment, prizes and surprises.  As this is the major fundraising effort of the Chamber year, tickets will be sold at $75 per person and companies, members and individuals are also invited to purchase ads in the commemorative souvenir booklet.

The rates are outlined on the form HERE which can be completed and returned to the Chamber of Commerce office, via fax (242) 352-3280, in person or emailed to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .  Contact 352-8329 with any questions.
