G.B.C.C. 6th Annual Road Cycling Championships will roll August 6th

FREEPORT, Grand Bahama -- There is less than a week left before the start of the G.B.C.C. 6th Annual Road Cycling Championships. The event is scheduled for Monday, August 6th, 2012, at 8:30am on the Grand Bahama Highway near the airport round-a-bout.

Registration for the event begins at 7:30am. The Junior and Novice Adult race begins at 8:30am. The Cat 1, 2 & 3 events are set for a tentative start time of 9:15am.

The distances and related fees are listed below.
  • $20.00 - Male Cat 1 – 73 miles
  • $20.00 - Female Cat 1 – 49 miles
  • $20.00 - Male Cat 2 – 49 miles
  • $20.00 - Female Cat 2 – 37 miles
  • $15.00 - Male and Female Cat 3 – 24 miles
  • $10.00 - Novice Adults and Juniors - 12 miles
