The intensive two day training conducted by Erick Bermudez, neonatal equipment expert from Dräger included enhanced communication of critical patient alarms, optimizing patient care and safety, efficiency gains from having the ability to immediately identify and prioritize patient needs, and improved risk management analysis capability through audit trails of alarm notification, documentation, response and acknowledgement. Dräger offers a complete clinical hospital solution with their complementary therapy devices – including ventilators, anesthesia machines, incubators, monitors, phototherapy lights, and baby warmers. As stated by Michele Rassin of Ports International, “Patient safety is a top priority, and finding ways to enhance it is constantly on the minds of nurses, physicians and hospital leadership. Ports International is pleased to have offered this training with Dräger to further support patient safety and direct patient care.” Photo: Drager neonatal equipment expert Erick Bermudez and PMH NICU clinicians.
