My Fellow Bahamians,

The Democratic National Alliance (DNA) joins Christians around the nation and the world in solemnly honoring the greatest sacrifice and miracle known to mankind—the death and resurrection of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

We thank God that He loves us this much, so that we would inherit everlasting life.

On behalf of the executives, candidates, staff and volunteers of the DNA, I sincerely hope that this season encourages us all to be Christ-like, in that we make sacrifices in our lives to help someone, who is less fortunate. This selfless act of putting someone in need above oneself is the greatest act of love, as Christ has shown us. There is no better way to honor Him. This is truly what it means to be Thy Brothers Keeper. This is the reason for the Easter season.

I pray that God’s grace and mercy continue to shine on these Family of Islands. From my family to yours, have a happy and safe Easter and may God bless each and every one of you.
