International magazine 3x3 call for entries

3x3 - the magazine of contemporary illustration - is the only true international competition for illustrators with nearly half their entries coming from outside the United States. This competition is open to all art directors, editors, designers and illustrators in all countries for commissioned and unpublished work produced in 2011.

The 3x3 jury panel is made up of leading international art directors, design directors and illustrators. And all judging is done independently so they avoid any favoritism that might take place in a jury room.

Their published annual appears on leading newsstands in the US, Canada, the UK, Europe and parts of Asia reaching art directors and art buyers at the most affordable cover price of any illustration annual. And this year, they will be offering a free digital version of their annual to a select list of art directors and art buyers.

They are awarding a $1500 cash prize for the Best of Show, plus $750 cash-value prizes for their gold medal winners. Just one more reason to enter what’s becoming the best show of international illustration. Deadline: March 9, 2012
