Nine of Jane’s paintings sold, and in addition to generously opening up her home for the ultra chic art show, cocktail party, and Rubins fashion show, Jane donated half the proceeds of all pieces sold that night to ensure more young Bahamians get an opportunity to study in the healthcare fields. Many corporate sponsors helped make the evening a tremendous success. Food Art by Cacique put together a mouthwatering menu of savoury and sweet treats and both Burns House and Bristol Wines and Spirits ensured the drinks flowed throughout the evening.
Other corporate partners include: Bahamas Wholesale Agencies, Sherwin Williams, The British Colonial Hilton, Bahamas Plastic Surgery, The Dermal Clinic, Oreyo Brothers and The Movi Group of Companies. “This entire evening was a tremendous success. We raised money and perhaps more importantly over the long term, we were able to raise awareness of The Dr Meyer Rassin Foundation, what it is we do, and the importance of ensuring young Bahamians are educated in the allied healthcare fields so that Bahamian society has the best medical care possible,” said Barry Rassin, President, Doctors Hospital.
